DESCRIPTION:From an organizational meeting in November 2025\, there was a decision to ‘do history’ about the history of journalism: Doing History\, ‘Moses Yale Beach In Conversation’ is now the teleplay Fit To Print. It is an exploration of journalism history and American ideals featuring The Sun Penny Paper\, Moses Yale Beach\, and his contemporaries \n\nRoger Sherman Baldwin (1839) – Amistad Case Attorney Joseph Cinqué\n\n\nHistorical questions: What did “human rights” mean to different classes of white Northerners? How did newspaper coverage shape public opinion on Amistad? On Slavery? On the role of newspapers?\n\nThe Sun markets both reportage and a lithograph of the captive leader\, Aug. 31\, 1839 \n“Joseph Cinquez — The Brave Congolese Chief — Lithograph Now Available.” \n\nP.T.
